About Catalyst City
A picture book series about community care, created to help kids see that kindness is powerful, and that they can help build a better world.
Catalyst City began with a simple question: what if a city remembered everything good that people have done for each other, like free breakfast for kids, shared gardens, and neighbors who show up? The answer became Maya’s story.
The series is planned for twelve or more books. Each one visits a new part of Catalyst City and a new way that kids can care for the people around them. Book One, Catalyst, is the first.
